The goal of 'Cathedral' was to create a realistic scene of an elaborately constructed church, simulating stained glass, lighting, and reflections with 3-D tools. In less than three weeks and using three photographs for reference, I accurately reconstructed the 3-D models, textures, and lighting that composed the original scene. Upon completion of the reconstructed scene, I animated cameras within the environment to showcase the finished product through an animated video sequence. Rendering the 450 frames required for the animation took 20 workstations four hours to complete.
