Project Summary
The highly anticipated follow up to the Art of FLIGHT, Red Bull Media House presents THE FOURTH PHASE, a snowboarding epic starring iconic athlete Travis Rice as he navigates the North Pacific landscape on a 16,000-mile course. The film was shot entirely in 4K ultra high-definition and delivers action sports in the most high-profile, technologically advanced, epic fashion pushing the limits of film.
We wanted to create a website that let the film's content and breathtaking environments be the hero so we decided to build actual landscapes in 3D and render them real-time using WebGL for a seamless user experience on a desktop or mobile device. The site earned an FWA Site of the Day award. Developed while under employment of Archrival.
Involvement & Achievements
- Co-developed strategy and execution of public site
- Created 3D components and developed landing experience
- Developed CMS, complete with ability to add rider & crew social accounts for ingesting social posts
